There isn’t a one-size-fits-all recipe, as herbal dyes yield unique results based on your natural and any artificial pigments in your hair. Keep these key points in mind when considering herbal color:

 

•Plant pigments cannot lighten hair; you can remain within the same shade range or go darker; and it’s best to begin with a lighter color and adjust as necessary for deeper hues.
